Accountancy – Public Accountancy

Business Administration, Aviation
This two-year program builds on your associate degree and prepares you to advance into positions such as as business manager, sales representative, or production supervisor in a variety of fields, including manufacturing, retailing, construction, financial institutions, and government.
Business Administration, Professional Track
If you have a specialized associate degree, such as construction technology, culinary arts or automotive technology, this is an excellent program for you. You’ll build a solid knowledge of business and management upon your technical expertise.
Computer Information Systems (CIS)
With a CIS bachelor's degree, you'll be able to step into positions in computer programming/analysis, systems analysis, network administration, and microcomputers.
Computer Information Technology (CIT)
This curriculum prepares you for several industry certifications such as: CompTIA’s: A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, and Microsoft's Systems Administration Certification (MCSA).
Criminal Justice
You’ll be prepared for positions including police officer, corrections officer, community correction officer, probation officer, detective, federal agent, and investigator for public and private agencies and/or corporations.
Education, Early Childhood
In this program you’ll observe and work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, applying theories and techniques taught in the classroom. Graduates of the Early Childhood Education major find positions in Head Start programs, day care centers or family day care homes, elementary schools, hospitals, recreation centers, or other child-oriented businesses.
Education, Elementary
You’ll choose to complete one of the three options: Integrated Science major; Integrated Science major & Reading minor; and Integrated Science major, Reading minor & Child Development. In addition to passing the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification, you’ll earn provisional State of Michigan teacher certification.
General Business

Transfer to Grand Rapids for Biological Laboratory Science (BS)
You’ll gain the strong foundation you need to launch your career as a laboratory scientist or to pursue a postgraduate degree in areas like science, biomedical research, biotech and pharma with the bachelor of science in biological laboratory science at Davenport University. Delivered on Davenport’s W.A. In this comprehensive cognitive impairment program you’ll learn research-based practices for developing academic, adaptive behavior, communication, and social skills; for including students in the general education curriculum; for implementing a variety of assessment procedures; for implementing assistive technologies; for collaborating with families and other educational staff; and for transitioning individuals with a CI from school to life.
Educational Specialist

The educational specialist in leadership program provides school, district, and organizational leaders with clinical experiences, case methods of teaching, and pragmatic curriculum geared to the specific knowledge required by district leaders and superintendents at different career stages. In partnership with Northwest Education Services and Grand Valley State University's Traverse City Regional Center, the College of Education and Community Innovation will offer a six-semester certification program for individuals residing in Northern Michigan and who are employed by a participating school district. Occupational Therapy

Physician Assistant Studies
You’re eligible for the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program if you have earned a baccalaureate degree from GVSU or other universities, have completed prerequisite courses and fulfilled a minimum of 500 hours of work, and volunteer and/or shadow experience in health care settings with patients.
Public Administration
